Q?
How does the Aero-Wrap™ product line work?
-
A.
Each Aero-Wrap™ product is designed to apply gradient compression that is greatest at the ankle and gradually decreases compression towards the knee. The patented bladder profile and AeroGauge™ inflation system provide accurate and consistent gradient compression at different pressure ranges. Appropriate gradient compression forces the fluid back into circulation and improves venous circulation and venous return.
-
Q?
What compression levels do the Aero-Wrap™ products provide?
-
A.
It depends on the Aero-Wrap™ product, but each provides the flexibility for a wide range of gradient compression. The AeroGauge™ inflation system is used with Aero-Wrap™ and Aero-Wrap Acute™ to provide compression nat the ankle in three ranges (20-30mmHg, 30-40mmHg, and 40-50mmHg).
-
Q?
What do I do if the Aero-Wrap™ product feels too tight?
-
A.
Deflate the Aero-Wrap™ product and reapply to assure proper application, also to ensure the AeroGauge™ is set to the prescribed pressure range. If the device is applied correctly and the Aero-Wrap™ still feels too tight remove and consult your physician about your prescribed pressure range. Should the leg develop pain or the foot become pale, cool, or numb; the Aero-Wrap™ product must be removed immediately and the physician contacted.
